Yogyakarta – In a continuous effort to enhance the competence and accuracy of human resources within cash management processes, the Authenticity Features of the Rupiah (CIKUR) Education program was successfully conducted. This training serves as a crucial step for the operational lines of Cash Management Companies (PJPUR), considering that the personnel bear a massive responsibility in identifying, sorting, and managing the Rupiah circulating in society.

A profound understanding of the Rupiah's authenticity characteristics is a fundamental aspect for all operational personnel. This understanding is critical to ensure that all processed cash strictly complies with the rigorous security and quality standards established by Bank Indonesia.

Through this educational program, participants were equipped with comprehensive skills to recognize the security features on the Rupiah and identify indications of banknotes with doubtful authenticity with high precision. Furthermore, participants were trained to accurately implement authenticity verification procedures across every flow of cash processing operations.

Beyond mere technical training, this competence enhancement is strategically aimed at strengthening the company's internal control functions. With highly trained personnel, the company can effectively prevent Rupiah of doubtful authenticity from infiltrating the cash processing and distribution chain. Ultimately, this commitment to improving human resources quality is a tangible reflection of the company's dedication to maintaining widespread public trust in the Rupiah as a valid legal tender.

This intensive training was held on July 15, 2026, at the BRI Corporate University facility in Yogyakarta. To ensure that operational standards are comprehensively applied from the managerial to the frontline level, the program was attended by key ranks, which include:

  • Branch Managers
  • Operational Managers
  • Assistant Managers of the Cash Processing Center (CPC)
  • Cash Processing Center (CPC) Officers
